Recognition, Treatment and Management of Patients with COPD: Altering the Course of an Epidemic
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a serious, chronic respiratory condition estimated to become the third leading cause of death among Americans by 2020. However, it can be effectively managed through appropriate diagnosis and clinical care. In this web workshop replay, Timothy Byrum, CRNP will lead you and your colleagues in a timely discussion of essential measures to recognize patients with COPD and how to best utilize spirometry in making your diagnosis. He will also present a review of best practices for comprehensive care of your patients with COPD in a primary care setting.
